"Bouncing" some Kata
An anonymous poster has pointed out the following link to me with a comment on an old post regarding fencing kata. I thought it was worth 'bouncing' it here as it's a very interesting link...... Thanks Anonymous!

Very interesting website - thanks! I wish there were books and websites about different ways of teaching budo. People tend to focus on the content of the art but ignore the pedagogic system that often (not always) is a major part of the actual system. If you have any budo-wise reading suggestions for me, I'm all ears!
Also, would you mind pointing out the old post on fencing kata?
Thanks Kontakt, glad you find the blog interesting! A previous post on reading lists can be found here http://autumnlightning.blogspot.com/2008/09/classic-reading-on-bus.html and I would heartily recommend anything by Dave Lowry
Hehe, well. The name of your blog did ring a bell, the first time I ran into it... my budo teacher recommends Lowry also, but I didn't get into reading him until recently.
